Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our client based in Newport. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical experience within plant, engineering or industrial environments.
The Role
Carrying out basic maintenance on plant equipment
Dropping and refitting belly pans
Fitting side guards
Tracking and adjusting conveyor belts
Greasing machinery and carrying out oil checks
Supporting the smooth running of site operations
Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Requirements
Experience as a Plant Fitter, Maintenance Engineer or similar role-
Strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment
Reliable with a strong work ethic

Consistent Monday to Friday night shifts
