The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that its services operate efficiently and effectively, ensuring strategic support and advice to Corporate Directors and Assistant Directors in the achievement of the Council's Objectives through effective business partnering and sound Corporate Governance arrangements.
This post is a hands-on post, responsible for the production of the Council's Statement of Accounts, including managing the Collection Fund accounting process.
This will be a key post in the exciting run up to Local Government Reorganisation and will suit someone who wishes to gain valuable experience across a wide range of Borough Council specific services and Deputy S151 duties in readiness for the two new unitary authorities that will be created in Nottinghamshire as part of Local Government Reorganisation.
