Summary
Out-of-hours duties for critical care on-call rota: Undertake handover from weekday daytime consultant at 1730-1800 Provide on-site / resident consultant critical care ward round session 0800-1400 Saturday/Sunday and bank holidays Provide on-site / resident cover 1800-2100 Monday-Friday (before going non-resident for one night) on an ad hoc basis as per rota / other clinical requirements. Non-resident on call cover weekdays 2100-0800 Non-resident on call cover Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holidays 1400-0800 On-call supervision of resident/ locally employed doctors x2 Tier 1 residents in critical care unit x1 Tier 2 resident with shared duties in anaesthesia For a full detailed description of the role please refer to the job description and person specification.
