We’re recruiting for an experienced Lead Asset Change Analyst to join a major facilities and asset management programme based in Birmingham on a 12-month FTC.

Job Description

This is a senior, governance-led position responsible for leading asset data change processes across CAFM/CMMS systems.

​You will play a critical role in ensuring all asset data updates are controlled, accurate, fully auditable, and aligned with compliance and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage asset data change governance processes across CAFM/CMMS systems

Coordinate, control, and approve asset data updates in line with change control and audit requirements

Ensure asset changes are validated against maintenance standards and statutory compliance requirements

Own the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of the asset register

Manage data reconciliation and dependency checks across systems

Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring robust audit trails are produced

Lead governance meetings, taking ownership of decisions, actions, and outcomes

Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting on asset changes, risks, and data quality

Assess and manage the operational impact of asset changes, ensuring effective stakeholder communication

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Strong experience within asset management, facilities management, or maintenance environments

Proven experience working with CAFM, CMMS, or EAM systems

Experience managing or leading asset data change processes or governance

Understanding of PPM regimes and asset lifecycle management

Experience delivering data reconciliation, reporting, and audit readiness

Ability to manage complex, high-volume data environments

Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
