As a Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in providing reassurance, safety, and support through the night—helping people feel secure and cared for when it matters most.

Whether you’re experienced or new to care, we’ll support you every step of the way with training, development, and a clear career pathway.


What Your Night Will Look Like

No two nights are the same, but your role will include:


Providing overnight support, including personal care where required
Monitoring wellbeing and ensuring a safe, calm environment
Administering medication in line with support plans
Completing regular checks and accurate record-keeping
Responding to any needs or emergencies with confidence and care
Supporting individuals to maintain their independence and dignity


You’ll work independently during the night, with the reassurance of being part of a wider, supportive team.

Important Information

This role is Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. A PVG check is required.
