Customer Support & Retail Assistant
Location: Welham Green, Hertfordshire
Salary: 28k
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with 30-minute lunch break. Saturdays on a rota basis.
Job Type: Full-time, permanent


About the Company


Our client is a long-established run business within the transport industry, who are seeking their next permanent member of staff - the aim of the role is to provide excellent customer service and high-quality products to their customers.


Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are looking for a reliable and hands-on Customer Support & Operations Assistant to join their busy team in Welham Green.


The Role


This is a busy customer-facing position involving customer service and operational duties. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing team assisting customers, handling deliveries and customer orders, and supporting the day-to-day running of the business.


The role will involve manual handling and fitting duties for motors.


Key Responsibilities


·Welcoming and assisting customers visiting site
·Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person
·Providing product information and support on their requirements
·Assisting with sales and after-sales support
·Seeing items in and out from hire and service
·Assisting with fitting on vehicals
·Checking in deliveries and overseeing website orders
·Supporting the wider team with operational duties
·Maintaining excellent customer service standards at all times


Skills & Experience Required


·Previous customer service or sales experience required
·Automotive industry experience beneficial
·Strong communication and organisational skills
·Good computer skills and ability to manage online orders/systems
·Well presented with a professional customer service manner
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Practical, hands-on approach and must be comfortable with manual handling duties
