Production Machine Operative – FMCG (Bottled & Canned Drinks)
Location: Pontefract
Pay Rate: £14.52
Shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am (3 on / 3 off)
Shift Pattern Explained
You’ll work a rotating shift pattern designed to give you regular time off:
3 days on (7:00am – 7:00pm)
3 days off
3 nights on (7:00pm – 7:00am)
3 days off
This pattern repeats, giving you 14 days off across the month.
The Role
We’re looking for reliable Production Machine Operatives to join a fast-paced FMCG environment, working on the production of bottled and canned drinks.
Key Responsibilities
Operating and monitoring production machinery
Ensuring smooth running of bottling and canning lines
Carrying out basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
Conducting quality checks on finished products
Packing and labelling products where required
Reporting faults or issues to supervisors
Working as part of a team to meet production targets
About the Site
This is a non-smoking site – smoking or vaping is not permitted at any time, including breaks
This is an allergen-free site – no allergens are allowed onsite
The working environment can be warm, so you must be comfortable in these conditions
Strict hygiene rules apply – no jewellery, false nails, eyelashes, etc.
You must wear safety shoes and a hi-vis vest (other PPE will be provided)
