Location of job Malt Kiln Farm Shop, Stretton Under Fosse, Rugby,
Warwickshire. CV23 0PE
Brief job description (tasks) Picking strawberries, (all grown on table top system under poly tunnels) raspberries and other soft fruit. Rhubarb picking. Strawberry planting & weeding. Pruning raspberries. Packing frozen fruit. Pumpkin planting, picking & cleaning.
Other horticultural tasks. Assist with polytunnel covering.
Average work week
(Weekend work, please also detail any overtime available) 40 hrs per week standard week. During peak season work will be required on Saturday, depending on business requirement. Overtime paid at standard rate of pay.
Hours per day (inc start time / finish time) 8am until 4.30pm (including 30 min unpaid break)
8 hr day.
Pay rate (inc any overtime rates)
Minimum wage per hour
Method of pay (cheque / cash + frequency / weekly etc) BACS transfer each month
Skills / qualifications / experience required for job
Experience of picking and planting would be an advantage, although training will be given.
It would be beneficial if one candidate could use a grass strimmer.
Minimum age 18 years old
