September 2026 – Easter 2027 | £110–£150 per day Term Time Only | 8.30am–3.30pm**
Hannett Hale Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a vibrant, inner city primary school located in the heart of Preston. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join the team full time from September 2026 until Easter 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a diverse, energetic school community with a high percentage of pupils with EAL and SEN. The school is committed to supporting and developing its staff, offering excellent guidance, strong leadership and a collaborative team culture. You will also have the support of a full time Teaching Assistant in your classroom.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
• Take full responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering engaging and high quality teaching
• Be actively involved in planning, preparation and assessment
• Work closely with and support the full time TA within your classroom
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of EAL learners and pupils with SEN
• Create a positive, inclusive and well managed classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
• Contribute to the wider life of this supportive and forward thinking school
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching in a KS2 classroom
• Confidence supporting pupils with EAL and SEN
• Strong classroom management and a proactive, flexible approach
• The ability to take on the full responsibilities of a class teacher
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and progress
