CIS Security have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer to become a key part of a high-profile, technology-led workplace. This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, building rapport with people, and working with modern security and workplace systems.Information:Position: Corporate Security OfficerLocation: Leeds (LS1 Location)Pay Rate: £13.45 per hourHours: 50 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday - Days (flexibility to cover evenings and weekends if needed)Job Requirements:Valid SIA DS Licence (essential) and First Aid qualification (essential)Experience in corporate security, concierge or front-of-house (minimum 1 year preferred)Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a consistently high standard of customer serviceExcellent command of the English language and good IT skillsReliable, responsible and punctual, with excellent timekeepingTakes pride in appearance and presentation, maintaining a smart, corporate standardFlexible approach to daily duties and supportive during on-site eventsSIA CCTV Licence is desirableBe able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested What You Can Expect:A professional, supportive team environment with clear standards and proceduresA premium corporate office setting where customer service is valued as highly as securityVaried day-to-day responsibilities, working with visitors, stakeholders and modern site systemsThe opportunity to build your corporate security career on a high-profile contractKey Responsibilities:Deliver a highly visible, professional front-of-house security presence-acting as an ambassador for both the client site and CIS Security.Own access control processes, including staff/visitor sign-in, pass management and ensuring compliance with site entry requirements.Complete internal and external patrols, opening/closing procedures and proactive checks-reporting hazards, defects and security concerns promptly.Monitor CCTV and alarm systems (where applicable), respond to activations and escalate incidents in line with corporate procedures.Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally, supporting site emergency plans and liaising with stakeholders as required.Maintain accurate documentation (incident reports, shift handovers and daily logs), ensuring clear communication and timely escalation.Provide outstanding customer service in person, by email and over the phone-supporting visitors, staff and contractors with a helpful, solutions-focused approach.Professional, customer-focused and solutions-oriented in a corporate environment.Able to work independently and as part of a team-proactive, observant and confident using initiative.Calm under pressure, with the confidence to deal with challenging situations professionally.Physically fit to complete internal and external patrols, with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a shift.Strong report-writing skills, producing clear and accurate incident logs and shift handovers.Presents a professional corporate image at all times, with a friendly and courteous approach.Comfortable using common corporate IT tools and learning site systems (e.g., access control and CCTV platforms).Writes clear, professional emails and communicates effectively with visitors, colleagues, and management.Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.Understands and follows site escalation and communication procedures, escalating appropriately during incidents and emergencies.Able to carry out the essential duties of the role, including patrols and shift-based work.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
