Purpose of the job:




To assist with the laminating of components and tooling across a range of industry sectors, sizes and complexities.




Key Responsibilities:




• Final preparation of patterns and moulds.

• Using a variety of hand tools, small air tools and abrasive paper hand finish master

patterns to the highest of standards.

• Spray sealer to patterns then post spraying preparation.

• Work to drawings and working instructions.

• Help develop processes to improve quality and efficiency.

• Keep all equipment maintained.

• Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy.




SKILLS:




* Previous experience in a pattern shop or similar environment.
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Good attention to detail is essential.
* Able to follow work instructions.
* Good awareness of health and safety.
* Good verbal communication and listening skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Used to working in a fast-moving environment.
* Flexible approach to whatever it takes to get the job done.
* Problem Solving skills.
