Crynodeb
Exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Natalie Allen Dressage. Natalie is an industry professional who has competed in international level. Currently producing lots of top calibre young horses ready for the circuit.
This position is open to a non rider , the ideal candidate must have horse experience as dealing with stallions and fit competition horses. Duties will include but not limited to:
General yard duties
Grooming
Prepare for shows
Travelling groom
Lunging
Natalie trains with top names in the dressage world so you will get a chance to have an insight to the top of the sport.
The apprenticeship is work based on site fulltime so not just sitting in a classroom. If you didn't achieve your Maths & English grades we are able to support you to gain these whilst on programme with us.
The interview will consist of a trial day on the yard working with Natalie and the team.
You must be a UK resident or have lived in the EU for 3 years or more to apply for this position. If you hold a level 3 Equine qualification already you are unable to apply for this role.
Training
All training will be provided on
site during your paid working hours.
Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination
of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training
Trainer Coach.
Qualifications required
A GCSE or equivalent pass in English
and maths is beneficial but not essential.
If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your
Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
Skills required
Competent at handling horses
Prospects
Progression to L3 Equine
Could support the senior team and become a head person
Opportunity to groom shows
Watch lessons with trainers from the top of the sport
Qualification / Standard : ST0166 Equine groom
Duration 12 months
