Job Description – Chef
Applications are invited for a Chef to work in a small care home for 20 elderly people.
The applicant must enjoy contact with the residents and staff at the care home.
Must be enthusiastic and work as part of a team to provide a high-quality service and excellent food to residents.
Duties include preparing quality home cooked food and desserts each day.
Hours of work are 2 days per week (alternate weekends) job sharing with another chef.
The successful applicant will be required to work 2 days per week plus relief (if required). Core hours will be 700 – 1430. Additional hours for housekeeping or doing social activities with residents will be available if desired.
Applicants will be required to have a criminal records check and provide two names for referees.

Salary: At least £13.50 per hour (amount could increase based on an applicants' experience)
