Practice Nurse – Finchley, North London

Part-Time | 3 Days per Week | Opportunity to Increase Hours

A well-established, friendly GP practice based in Finchley is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Practice Nurse to join its close-knit clinical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who enjoys working within a supportive, patient-focused environment and values continuity of care within a smaller community practice.

The successful candidate will initially work 3 days per week, with the potential for additional sessions and increased hours in the future as the practice continues to grow.

Main Responsibilities

The Practice Nurse will be responsible for providing a broad range of nursing services, including:

  • Chronic disease management
  • Cervical cytology
  • Immunisations and vaccinations
  • Wound care and dressings
  • NHS health checks
  • Travel vaccinations
  • Phlebotomy
  • Supporting health promotion and patient education
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records
    Candidate Requirements

    The practice is looking for a caring and reliable nurse who:

    • Is a registered nurse with valid NMC registration
    • Has previous experience within primary care/general practice
    • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Works well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Is organised, proactive, and patient-centred

      Additional qualifications in chronic disease management or cervical screening would be advantageous but are not essential.
