Early Years Leader -Primary School
Location: Camden, London, NW1
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum dependent on experience
Start Date: September 2026
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Camden area for an Early Years Leader to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate graduate looking to progress within early years education and take on a leadership-focused role within a thriving primary school environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the Early Years provision, supporting pupils during the crucial stages of their development while helping to maintain a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
The school is seeking a strong academic candidate with previous Teaching Assistant experience who is confident supporting young learners and working closely alongside teaching staff and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality learning within the Early Years setting
• Assisting with the development of engaging and creative classroom activities
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Working closely with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting classroom management and pupil engagement
Candidate Requirements:
• Degree educated
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential
• Strong understanding of Early Years education and child development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about supporting young children within education
• A proactive, organised, and nurturing approach
• Right to Work in the UK
