Summary
Key requirements Qualifications & Training: Graduate Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy Registered with the HCPC Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio, including attendance at recent and relevant postgraduate courses Experience: Comprehensive experience at Band 5 level in the assessment and treatment of patients following neurological event Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team and/or multidisciplinary team Recent evidence of On-call and respiratory experience Involvement in audit, research and an understanding quality issues Be the main clinical educator of students and training other staff whilst with the team Skills and Abilities: Experience of supervision of other staff, e.g. assistants, technical instructors Remain updated with professional practice and new research Understand the legal responsibilities of the profession Ability to present information, written and orally in a clear and logical manner Understanding of clinical governance and its implications for services, including experience of quality issues and audit Ability to comprehend and work within the Trust’s policies including data protection, equal opportunities, health and safety, risk management and meet the differing needs of the patients Ability to keep accurate and legible patient notes Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for further details.
