Status: Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) is essential.
Commercial Acumen: A proven track record in business development, fee generation, and maintaining high-value client relationships within the Oxfordshire region.
Leadership: Experience managing a team of surveyors, overseeing resourcing, and acting as an APC Mentor for the next generation of talent.
Technical Authority: While leadership-focused, you must remain a technical "touchstone" for complex matters including:
Technical Due Diligence (TDD) for multi-million-pound acquisitions.
Complex Dilapidations and Project Monitoring.
Strategic advice for R&D and Life Sciences facilities.
Network: An established professional network within the Oxford "Golden Triangle" is highly desirable.
The Role: Strategic Leadership & Multidisciplinary Growth
As an Associate Partner, you will sit at the intersection of technical excellence and business growth. Your duties will include:
Business Development: Identifying and securing new instructions across the Oxford hub, specifically targeting the booming Science & Tech sectors.
Team Evolution: Leading, motivating, and growing the Building Surveying team, ensuring quality control and professional standards are met across all projects.
Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Working alongside Partners in Project Management and Quantity Surveying to deliver integrated, "one-firm" solutions for blue-chip clients.
P&L Responsibility: Managing departmental budgets, fee forecasting, and ensuring the commercial viability of the surveying division.
