Are you an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with Social and emotional needs?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking SEND school in Stanley that is seeking a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.
SEMH Needs: Challenging Behaviour, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with autism and various other additional needs
- Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning
- Implement structured routines and behaviour support strategies
- Assist with personal care where required, ensuring dignity and safety
- Work closely with class teachers, the SENCo and external professionals
- Contribute to a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
