Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
- Complete repairs and replace components as required
- Generate detailed reports on vehicle defects and work performed
- Work independently or as part of a busy workshop team ensuring customer satisfaction
- Optional: Conduct MOT testing (if qualified)
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Valid UK driving licence
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealer environment
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Effective time management and organisational abilities
- Ability to operate under pressure whilst maintaining high-quality standards
- Proactive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Willingness to undertake manufacturer and EV-specific training
- Prior experience with electric vehicle maintenance is advantageous but not essential
