Secondary SEN Teacher - Permanent Role

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in an SEN and Alternative Provision setting?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Secondary SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Wolverhampton, working with students across Key Stage 3 & 4 with additional learning, behavioural, and emotional needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire young people through personalised learning, helping them build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in a nurturing environment.

Role Details
- Role: Secondary SEN Teacher
- Location: Wolverhampton
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Setting: On-site, SEN & Alternative Provision

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Support pupils with SEN, SEMH, and additional behavioural needs
- Create a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
- Encourage student progress, wellbeing, and independence
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams
- Promote positive behaviour and strong student relationships

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience or strong interest in SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to teaching
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
