Salary: Up to £36,000 DOE | Full-Time | 4-Day Working Week

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding nursing role where you will be heavily involved in all aspects of first opinion practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Nurse consultations and clinics
  • Schedule 3 procedures
  • Theatre and anaesthesia nursing
  • Surgical preparation and monitoring
  • Inpatient care and hospitalisation
  • Laboratory diagnostics
  • Client education and support
  • Admissions and discharges
  • Supporting veterinary surgeons during consultations and procedures

    As the sole RVN on-site, you will have significant clinical responsibility while benefiting from the support of an experienced veterinary and client care team.

    Hours & Work Pattern

    • Full-time position
    • 4-day working week
    • Fixed weekday off
    • 1 in 6 weekends
    • Excellent work-life balance

      This structured rota provides consistency and plenty of time to enjoy life outside of work.

      The Practice & Facilities

      This spacious, purpose-built practice is designed to provide a calm and efficient environment for both patients and the clinical team.

      Facilities include:

      • Separate cat and dog wards
      • Three consultation rooms
      • Two fully equipped operating theatres
      • Digital X-ray
      • Dental X-ray
      • Ultrasound
      • ECG
      • Comprehensive in-house laboratory

        The practice also benefits from access to advanced imaging, CT and 24-hour support from a nearby veterinary hospital.

            • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
            • Confident across all areas of small animal nursing
            • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your role

            • Interested in nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
            • A collaborative and proactive team member
