We're seeking a skilled Care Supervisor to join an established and reputable organisation who pride themselves on delivering exceptional care and support to vulnerable adults with learning disability and complex needs.
- To lead and mentor staff teams within residential services for adults with profound learning disability and complex needs.
- Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and mentor-ship to promote professional development.Conduct regular supervisions and 1-1s and work with the leadership team to ensure the delivery of highest quality of care and support.
- Conduct regular assessments and work towards individual support plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult care services.
- Monitor and maintain accurate documentation, including care records, incident reports, and staff rotas.
- Promote a positive and respectful environment that encourages dignity, independence, and choice for clients.
- Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance reviews to uphold service standards.
- Be flexible to work between the hours of 8am - 22.00 on a rota basis including alternate weekends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in adult care, such as Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Leadership and supervision training, with proven experience in managing and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of adult social care settings preferably supporting those with learning disability and profound complex care needs.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and compliance requirements within adult care.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate care documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond effectively to changing client needs.
- Car driver is preferable.
- You will be passionate, a strong leader who is able to motivate and mentor others.
