Summary
The Wildlife Trust BCN are recruiting for a reserves officer to assist with the day-to-day running of nature reserves in the Nene Valley, Northamptonshire. The Reserves Officer will report to the Nene Wetlands Senior Ranger and will lead on the day-to-day reserves management of Summer Leys and Titchmarsh Nature Reserves in the Nene Valley, through practical work, volunteer tasks, management planning and monitoring. The role requires good knowledge of the practice of nature conservation and principles of ecology, as well as an aptitude to undertake practical training. The role also involves liaising with visitors, graziers and the local community. The role is based at the Nene Wetlands Nature Reserve at Rushden Lakes and involves regular travel to Summer Leys and Titchmarsh.
