Summary
A full-time RMN Night Coordinator role working within a specialist mental health setting. Responsible for leading safe, effective care delivery during night shifts while supporting multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high clinical standards.
Overview
Salary: £47,508 per year
Working pattern: Onsite
Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week on a night shift rota including weekends. Fully remote working is not available.
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration required
Minimum 6-12 months post-registration experience required
Right to Work in the UK is required
What you'll do
Coordinate and lead nursing care during night shifts
Deliver and oversee prescribed care within agreed frameworks
Assess, plan and review individualised care plans
Monitor patient progress and respond to changing needs
Act as nurse in charge and support the wider MDT
Maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment
Support patients, carers and families through effective communication
Contribute to clinical meetings and service improvement
What you'll need
RMN qualification with active NMC registration
Minimum 6-12 months post-registration experience
Completed preceptorship programme
Knowledge of NMC standards and professional practice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead within a shift coordination framework
