Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Senior Care Assistant to join our clients care home team in Southport. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents while supporting and guiding care staff on shift. You will work both day and night shifts as part of a full-time 48-hour contract.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
Administer medication safely and in accordance with policies
Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hydration
Monitor and record residents' clinical needs, reporting any concerns promptly
Lead, supervise, and support care assistants during shifts
Liaise with nurses, healthcare professionals, and families as required
Maintain accurate care records and documentation
Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in residents' conditions
Requirements
Previous experience in a senior care or clinical care assistant role
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred
Medication administration training (essential)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work both day and night shifts, including weekends
A compassionate and professional approach to care
Schedule
12-hour shifts
