Are you a passionate and caring Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team based in Colchester.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
  
• 8:30am – 5:30pm
  

  The Role:
  As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within a safe and nurturing environment.

  Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children’s learning and development through engaging activities
    
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
    
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
    
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress
    
  • Assisting with planning activities in line with the EYFS framework
    
  • Promoting safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times
    
  • Supporting children with personal care routines where required
    
  • Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and physical development
    
  • Working effectively as part of a team to maintain high nursery standards
    

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare/Early Years
      
    • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
      
    • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
      
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
      
    • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
      
    • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
