Pay & Earning Potential
- £16.30 per hour (45 hours guaranteed)
- Overtime (after 45 hours): £20.38 per hour
- Weekend rate: £24.45 per hour
Typical weekly earnings: £1,084 based on a 60-hour week
- 45 hours @ £16.30 = £733.50
- 10 hours @ £20.38 = £203.80
- 6 hours @ £24.45 = £146.70
The Role
- Class 1 wagon & drag work across the UK
- Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles
- Transporting materials between sites and customer locations (scrap metal)
- No handball - focus on driving and delivering a professional service
- No nights out - enjoy a better work-life balance
What We're Looking For
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Previous wagon & drag experience preferred
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
- Strong communication and customer service skills
