Looking for a well-paid Class 1 role with great earning potential-without the nights away? This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers who want consistent work while being home every day.

Pay & Earning Potential

  • £16.30 per hour (45 hours guaranteed)
  • Overtime (after 45 hours): £20.38 per hour
  • Weekend rate: £24.45 per hour

Typical weekly earnings: £1,084 based on a 60-hour week

  • 45 hours @ £16.30 = £733.50
  • 10 hours @ £20.38 = £203.80
  • 6 hours @ £24.45 = £146.70

The Role

  • Class 1 wagon & drag work across the UK
  • Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles
  • Transporting materials between sites and customer locations (scrap metal)
  • No handball - focus on driving and delivering a professional service
  • No nights out - enjoy a better work-life balance

What We're Looking For

  • HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Previous wagon & drag experience preferred
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
