Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - South East London - September Start - £120-£150 per day
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in South East London for a full-time role starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong HLTA who is confident leading groups, covering lessons, and supporting students across the school.
The Role:
You will be supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with class teachers and senior staff to deliver high-quality support to pupils. The role may include leading interventions, covering lessons, and supporting students with SEN needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver small group interventions and targeted support sessions
- Provide classroom cover where required
- Support students across a range of abilities and needs
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- HLTA qualification (Required)
- Experience working within schools essential
- Confident leading groups and managing behaviour
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable approach
The Role Offers:
- £120-£150 per day depending on experience
