SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time (From September 2026)
Location: Salford (Secondary School)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Salford from September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including on the Autism Spectrum, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and autism
- Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN/A utism (preferred)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for supporting young people in education
