We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to provide a high-quality domestic cleaning service to patients, staff and visitors, ensuring a clean, safe and hygienic environment in line with agreed specifications.
The role supports both patient and non-patient areas and contributes directly to maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control.
The Role
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within designated areas, following work schedules, service level agreements and approved cleaning methods.
Respond promptly and effectively to ad-hoc cleaning requests, ensuring minimal disruption to patients, staff and visitors.
Carry out the cleaning of isolation rooms on patient discharge, including HPV and UV cleaning processes where trained.
Collect, handle and remove clinical and non-clinical waste safely and in line with Company procedures and Trust policies.
Ensure cleaning equipment, stock and supplies are stored safely and maintained at appropriate levels within the designated area.
Use cleaning equipment safely and correctly in accordance with training and instructions.
Maintain confidentiality, privacy and dignity at all times in line with the Data Protection Act and Company and Trust policies.
