An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist SEN Teacher (Autism) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Felixstowe, Suffolk. This part-time KS1 role is ideal for a passionate teacher committed to supporting pupils with Autism and Special Educational Needs.

You will deliver personalised learning and create a supportive classroom environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities


Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching for KS1 pupils with Autism (ASC)
Develop and implement EHCPs and individual learning plans
Create a structured and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies
Build strong relationships with parents and carers

Candidate Requirements


Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience supporting pupils with Autism or SEN in a primary setting
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching approaches
Patient, resilient, and committed to improving outcomes for SEN pupils
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Salary and Benefits


MPR (FTE £32,916 - £45,352)
Actual salary £19,749 - £27,211 per annum
SEN allowance £2,787 per annum
