Mae Llys Elian yn gartref gofal preswyl sy’n darparu cymorth 24 awr i bobl hŷn sydd yn byw gyda dementia.

Rydym yn dymuno penodi cogydd cynorthwyol ymroddedig a brwdfrydig, a fydd yn cynorthwyo gyda phob agwedd o arlwyo ar gyfer y Cartref Preswyl, y ganolfan dydd, ac fydd yn dirprwyo dros y cogydd yn ystod cyfnodau o absenoldeb. Bydd y person yn y swydd yn gweithio bob yn ail benwythnos.

Bydd angen i deilydd y swydd gynorthwyo wrth gynllunio bwydlenni er mwyn cwrdd ag anghenion dietegol unigolion, darparu deiet cytbwys, ystyried safon ac argaeledd cynhwysion er mwyn gwneud yn fawr o bob adnodd.

Bydd disgwyl i chi weithio mewn tîm i sicrhau fod prydau yn cael eu cynhyrchu i safon uchel a bod ceginau, mannau cadw bwyd ac offer yn lân ac yn cael eu cadw mewn cyflwr da, a sicrhau safon uchel o lanweithdra, a glynu wrth y polisi iechyd a diogelwch ac arfer da.

Rhoddir hyfforddiant a bydd rhai oriau gwaith ar y penwythnos yn dennu tâl uwch fesul awr. Mae cyfle i weithio oriau ychwanegol.

Mae sgiliau cyfathrebu ar lafar ac yn ysgrifenedig yn Saesneg yn hanfodol, tra byddai’r gallu i siarad Cymraeg yn effeithiol yn ddymunol.

Work base: Llys Elian

Llys Elian is a residential care home which provides 24 hour support for older people living with dementia.

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic assistant cook who will assist with all aspects of catering for the residential home and day centre, and who will deputise for the cook during periods of absence. The person in the post will be working every other weekend

The post holder will be required to assist with menu planning to meet individual dietary needs, providing a balanced diet, take account of availability and quality of ingredients and make best use of resources.

You will be expected to work as part of a team ensuring that meals are produced to a high standard and that kitchens, storage areas and equipment are clean and well maintained, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and adherence to health and safety policy and good practice.

Training will be given, and weekend hours worked will be at an enhanced hourly rate. There is opportunity to work additional hours.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, whilst the ability to verbally communicate effectively in Welsh would be desirable.

You will be required to undertake a Disclosure check by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
