Key responsibilities

The carer will visit the client's home and undertake the following responsibilities:
• Buy groceries and prepare meals
• Complete household tasks including cleaning and laundry
• Drive the client to medical appointments and other necessary trips
• Provide friendly companionship and emotional support

AGE: 74
MEDICAL CONDITIONS: Progressive neurodegenerative disorder (Superficial Siderosis) and osteoarthritis
ADDITIONAL HEALTH NEEDS: Deaf with mobility issues
HOUSEHOLD: Three dogs (note: pet care is not included in this role)
Work environment

The client's home is smoke-free. A car will be provided for the role.
Working pattern
==========================
6 - 10 hours per week, typically 2-3 hours per day in the afternoon. Timings are flexible to accommodate medical appointments as needed.
Requirements

ESSENTIAL:
• Care Certificate qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Fluent spoken English
• Animal lover with an appreciation for the countryside
