Company Overview:
A UK manufacturing business specialising in bespoke joinery and furniture, producing high-quality products for a range of clients.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Create and modify CAM programs for 3- and 5-axis CNC machines.
- Choose tooling, cutting methods, materials and machine settings to improve efficiency and quality.
- Support estimating and project teams with input on CNC processes, costs and production.
- Produce accurate works orders, drawings and technical documentation for shopfloor use.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- CNC programming experience within a joinery or woodworking environment is essential.
- Minimum 3 years' CNC programming experience, with 3-axis and 5-axis capability essential.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD)
- Ability to interpret complex 2D and 3D technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with Biesse and B Solid machines - desirable.
