Salary: £37,422 - £41,335 per year (pay award pending)
Location: Selkirk, Scottish Borders
Hours and terms: 37 hours per week, permanent contract


The Role:

The Procurement officer will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation, public sector collaborative working groups to support the organisation by delivering a procurement service for a range of goods, services and works.Key Responsibilities:

Provide procurement advice and support across the organisation

Plan, monitor and deliver procurement projects

Manage tendering activity via the procurement portal

Maintain procurement systems and the contracts register

Conduct supplier financial checks and track community benefit commitments

Prepare monthly spend analysis to support strategic planning

Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and policies

The Successful Applicant
An experienced procurement professional

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Confident communicator with influencing skills

Understanding of public procurement legislation (or willingness to learn)

Committed to value for money, compliance and delivering community impact
