Job Summary:

As a key member of the Programme Management Office (PMO), this role is dedicated to the successful national rollout of the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system. You will be the primary point of contact for sites, guiding them through the entire journey: from initial engagement and readiness assessments to training and intensive go-live support.

This is a fast-paced, "boots-on-the-ground" role requiring a proactive individual who can manage multiple site timelines simultaneously while ensuring digital transformation is embraced by frontline staff. You will benefit from a highly supportive PMO structure while maintaining autonomy over site-specific delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Implementation:

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.

  • Monitor project progress using tools such as Monday.com, managing issues that may arise, and troubleshooting as required.

  • Collaborate with the Programme Management Office and workstream leads to remove blockers and ensure project progression.

  • Coordinate activities and resources with Digital Services (DS).

  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation.

  • Attend regular calls to discuss project progress.

  • Prioritise workload effectively and escalate issues promptly.

Key Skills & Experience

Experience:

  • Healthcare Context: Experience working within the NHS, private healthcare, or clinical software environments.

  • EPMA/EPR Exposure: Previous experience with Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) or Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementations is desirable.

  • Rollout & Delivery: Experience working within a fast-paced implementation team, PMO, or business change function, specifically supporting site-based go-lives.

  • Technical Readiness: IT literate and comfortable with the physical setup of training equipment (laptops/scanners/desktops) and basic system troubleshooting in a live site environment.

Skills:

  • Clinical Workflow Awareness: A strong understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) operational practices, specifically regarding medication cycles, patient safety, and clinical data flows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma) is desirable
