We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring a high level of accuracy, customer service, and adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications and over-the-counter products
Verify medication orders and ensure proper labeling and packaging of prescriptions
Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering, and restocking medications
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and educating patients on proper medication usage
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain a clean and organised pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Pharmacy Technician certification.
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software (preferred)
Knowledge of medication names, dosages, and pharmaceutical terminology is a plus
