The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Driver to join a well-established and growing operation based in Featherstone.
This role involves working with walking floor and tanker vehicles, transporting treated waste from water treatment sites to farms across the UK. If you're looking for consistent weekday work, modern vehicles, and excellent earning potential, this is a fantastic opportunity.

- Operating Class 1 vehicles (walking floors and tankers)
- Collecting treated material from water treatment plants
- Delivering to farms across the UK
- Ensuring all loads are transported safely and compliantly
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Accurately completing paperwork and tachograph records
- Monday to Friday only
- Minimum 50 hours per week
- Tramping role - overnight stays in vehicle required
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (minimum 6 months experience)
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements such as DR/DD/IN)
- Aged 25+ (insurance purposes)
- Previous walking floor/tanker experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Work involves transporting treated human waste
- High standards of safety, hygiene, and professionalism required
- Ongoing assignments throughout 2026 and beyond
