We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative to join our clients growing production team in Whitstable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Purpose of the Role
To assemble a range of company products to the required quality standards and within pre-determined timescales.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistent assembly of products to a high-quality standard using SOPs
- Carrying out in-process quality inspections
- Bagging and packaging products in line with documentation
- Reading and understanding drawings, manufacturing instructions, process documentation, and specifications
- Operating relevant machinery, including semi-automated equipment where required
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company guidelines
- Supporting the wider production team and carrying out other duties as reasonably requested
- Good level of English and Maths, both written and verbal
- Ability to follow written instructions and processes accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good hand dexterity and eye-to-hand coordination
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards
- Able to stay focused and work efficiently to deadlines and targets
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hardworking and dependable attitude
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential as full training may be provided.
