Job Title: Die Cast Machine Operator (Trainee)
Location: Wednesbury (WS10)
Pay Rate:

- £12.71 per hour (06:00 – 16:00 shift)
- £15.88 per hour (13:00 – 23:00 shift)

Shift Pattern:

- Rotating weekly shifts, Monday to Thursday

- Week 1: 06:00 – 16:00
- Week 2: 13:00 – 23:00

- 30 min unpaid lunch break

Role Overview
We are currently recruiting a Trainee Die Cast Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in die casting, with full training provided and clear progression opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities

- Operating die cast machines in line with safety and quality standards
- Loading and unloading components from machines
- Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting faults
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality specifications are met
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Training & Progression

- This is a trainee position, ideal for candidates new to die casting or manufacturing
- Full training provided from experienced operators
- Opportunities for skill development and progression within the business

Working Environment

- Manufacturing environment will be hot and noisy
- PPE is fully provided

Requirements

- Willingness to work rotating shifts
- Own transport is preferred due to shift start and finish times
- Reliable, punctual, and keen to learn
- Ability to work in a physical and fast-paced environment
