Rapier Employment are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for a well-established, blue-chip logistics contract based in Allington. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent, well-paid work with strong earning potential and the chance of a permanent position.
Pay & Benefits
- £22.03 per hour (16:00 – 04:00)
- £18.36 per hour (04:00 – 16:00)
- Overtime after 42.5 hours: £24.84 per hour
- Weekly Bonus: £20
- PAYE – holiday pay accrued
- Weekly pay or monthly
- Pension scheme
- Mortgage references available
The Role
- Night trunking work to Bridgwater, Stoke, and Portsmouth
- Trailer swaps between depots
- Occasional shunting cover
- Start times between 18:00 – 21:00
- Average shift length: 12 hours
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed pay per shift
- Ongoing, long-term work with consistent hours
- 2 days paid training provided

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience

- Right to work in the UK
- Professional, reliable, and positive attitude
