Crynodeb
The successful candidate will undertake a range of nursing assessments and provide appropriate care and treatment in line with practice policies, protocols and clinical guidance, working closely alongside the GP and wider multidisciplinary team. The Practice Nurse will work collaboratively with colleagues to support the delivery of high quality patient care, promote health and wellbeing, and encourage patients to manage their own healthcare needs where appropriate. The role requires the ability to work within professional boundaries whilst contributing positively to service development and continuous improvement within the practice. The post holder will be expected to maintain an awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and work in accordance with practice policies and procedures within a healthcare environment. A full employment history will be required as part of the recruitment process, including explanations for any gaps in employment. Knowledge of key elements of Primary Care, including the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), Enhanced Services and CQC requirements, would be beneficial for this role.
