Summary
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Side Loader Forklift Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Newport. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous side loader experience looking for ongoing, stable work within a fast-paced yard environment.
You will be working as part of a hardworking and safety-focused team, supporting the day-to-day movement and organisation of materials across site.
Duties will include:- Operating a side loader forklift to move timber and other large materials
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Organising and storing stock within the yard
- Supporting general yard operations as required
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Valid side loader forklift licence or previous side loader experience
- Confidence handling long or awkward loads
- Good awareness of yard safety and manual handling procedures
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work well within a team
- Monday to Friday
- 07:30 - 16:30
- £13.50 per hour
