A supportive and inclusive primary school in Trafford is looking to appoint an experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This full-time, long-term role will involve supporting pupils with communication and social challenges, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and build positive relationships within the classroom environment.
- Providing tailored support to pupils with communication and interaction needs
- Supporting children with social development and emotional regulation
- Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups throughout the school day
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Using positive behaviour strategies and structured routines to support learning
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social engagement
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has previous SEN experience within a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of communication and social needs, including ASD
- Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
- Competitive daily pay of £102 - £115 per day
- Full-time hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
