The Best Connection Chesterfield are actively recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Night Drivers for a leading logistics client in the Worksop area.
If you're looking for stable, well-paid night work with a mix of depot trunking and light store deliveries, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with long-term potential.
The Role - Class 1 HGV Night Driver- Night shifts: Sunday to Thursday
- Start times between 15:00-22:00
- Depot-to-depot trunking + occasional store deliveries
- Minimal or no hand-balling
- £21.58 per hour (between 02:00-06:00)
- £18.04 - £18.38 per hour outside these hours
- Completing Class 1 trunking routes and store deliveries
- Following scheduled routes and delivery times
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensuring full compliance with UK driving laws and tachograph regulations
- Communicating with the transport team regarding any issues or delays
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Strong timekeeping and communication skills
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
