The Department for Transport is recruiting a Senior Resilience Advisor to support delivery of the government’s Home Defence Programme. The role sits at the centre of national resilience and conflict planning, working across government and industry to ensure the transport sector can respond to major incidents and is prepared for any future conflict scenarios. You will work independently at pace, analysing risks, balancing competing priorities and shaping critical defence and resilience plans.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Delivering the transport operational plan to support Defence Strategic Base Outload planning.
- Supporting the delivery of dual civilian-military use of transport infrastructure.
- Supporting the delivery of all relevant DfT Home Defence response and recovery plans.
- Supporting the Department’s legal contribution to upcoming legislation.
