Summary
We are seeking a kind and dedicated practitioner to join our childcare’s day nursery in Triangle, Halifax. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through activities and personal care.
Duties
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns.
Carry out necessary cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and early childhood education standards.
Requirements
Some knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education, additional training will be provided.
Innate kindness to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications such as Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are welcomed but not necessary.
