Meet the Client:
I am a gentleman in my early 60's living in mid Lincolnshire. I suffered a brain injury thirty one years ago and have some mobility problems. I enjoy going to social events and clubs and visiting friends and family. I live on my own but require full time support from a companion /driver/carer to get me out and about in my own car.
About the job role:
- To work a three day rota system (3 days on/3 days off) from 9am to 5.30pm
- To support me in the house
- To support me out and about shopping, at appointments and other social events. To be good at communicating with people and including me in the conversations.
- Lunch included (either at my home or out)
In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change.
About the ideal candidate:
- Will be enthusiastic, patient, caring and can show initiative
- Will have experience of caring at someone's home
- Will understand the needs relating to my brain injury
- Will hold a full driving licence, preferably clean
- Will live locally and know the local roads
When you will be working:
- Day shifts (9am-5.30pm)
- 3 day rota system - 3 days on / 3 days off
