Chef / Cook – Flexible Full or Part Time
Nether Green, Sheffield
We’re looking for a chef or experienced cook to join our small, friendly team at a busy independent café in Nether Green.
The role centres around brunch service, prep, and baking for our counter. We’re looking for someone reliable, organised, and comfortable taking initiative during busy services, while still being part of a close-knit team.
This could suit:
An experienced chef looking for a better work-life balance
Someone with strong café or brunch experience
Or someone from front of house who’d like to develop further and learn to confidently cover kitchen shifts
The café is owner-run, and both owners work in the business every day. We work hard, help each other out, and try to keep the atmosphere positive and supportive even on busy days.
There’s also room for creativity if that’s something you enjoy — from specials to baking ideas.
What we offer:
£13.50–£15 per hour depending on experience
Strong tips for a café setting
Daytime-only shifts — no evenings or Sundays
Free staff food and drinks on shift
Flexible full or part-time position
Supportive, tight-knit team environment
Working hours:
Wednesday to Saturday
8am–4pm
There may also be the opportunity for an additional prep/baking shift once fully trained.
