Summary


We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Administrator to work within our existing Mental Health Support Team (MHST). Admin Team. This is a key role at the heart of a busy, fast‑paced service that works with children, young people, families and education settings to improve mental health and wellbeing.
You will help ensure the smooth running of the team by coordinating appointments, managing referrals, maintaining accurate records and supporting staff with essential administrative processes. You will play an important part in enabling clinicians to deliver timely, effective care by keeping systems up to date, organising meetings and training, and ensuring communication flows efficiently across the service.

We are looking for an organised, proactive Administrator to join our Mental Health Support Team. This role is central to keeping the service running smoothly and ensuring children and young people receive timely, high‑quality support.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle the processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Produce high‑quality documents, reports and presentations
• Organise, coordinate and minute meetings, ensuring accurate records are maintained
• Support the planning and delivery of training events, including room bookings and logistics
• Manage your own workload effectively, meeting deadlines and responding flexibly to urgent tasks
• Arrange new and follow‑up care appointments for children, young people and families
• Take messages, triage enquiries and direct them to the appropriate team members
• Monitor the referrals inbox and participate in the admin duty rota
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date diaries for the team
• Uphold strict confidentiality at all times
• Attend weekly MDT meetings when required and record discussions, actions and new referrals
• Input, maintain and retrieve information from relevant databases
• Support staff in using the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record system
• Order goods and services through the Trust procurement platform
• Participate in required training and ongoing professional development
• Carry out any other duties relevant to the role and service needs
